Digital Garment Printing Or Screen Printing?

Direct To Garment (Digital Printing) produces excellent, high resolution prints that can be up to photographic quality.   Digital prints also have a flatter, smoother feel than many screen prints, which tend to have a rough, rubbery feel.

Digital prints are usually cheaper for smaller quantities and for logos & images that have a lot of colours, or special effects like colour blends, shadow effects and photographic quality.

Last but not least, if you are in a really big hurry, we can offer a Rush printing service that provides same day pickup in Melbourne or next business day delivery to most major post codes around Australia.  (See Express post)

Screen printing may be a better option for you if you need a large quantity of printed garments.    Here are some guides that will help you to decide which is best for you.

  • If you need more than 50 garments
  • If your logos have jut a few colours including white.
  • If your logos are mostly made up of solid colours
  • If you have good quality, vector artwork.   We can use some bitmap images but they have to be re-made in vector format, which will increase the cost.
  • If you are not in a big hurry.   (Screen prints take time to prepare the artwork and setup the machine ready for printing)
